Jason bought his Lightning in 1998 to tow his boat and have a fun toy. After adding a turbo, he got back into drag racing in 2023. It still does truck duty and still tows the boat to the lake.

Walker Morgan at Morgan Performance Fabrication built the turbo plumbing. A1 Transmission of Georgia supplied the Stage 1 E4OD, while a PxS ECU from Stinger Performance Engineering handles engine and transmission control.

The project is self-funded. As Jason puts it, it may not be the quickest, but it performs as intended.
